The Legacy of Thakur Sb. Nathu Singh Ji

Our journey into Ayurveda began with the vision of our Great Grandfather, Thakur Sb. Nathu Singh Ji, a man dedicated to helping others. Although he couldn’t fulfill his dream of becoming a doctor due to limited academic opportunities, his passion for healing was unstoppable.

He volunteered in famine camps, working with British officers, and his selfless service earned him the prestigious “Kaiser-e-Hind” title.

After completing his education, Thakur Sb. Nathu Singh Ji returned to his village and started providing free medicine to those in need. His dedication to serving his community caught the attention of Swami Krishnanand Ji, a respected Ayurvedic scholar. Recognizing his potential, Swami Ji came to Kalera (Kaleda) on May 2, 1928. This day marked the beginning of their work together in Ayurvedic research and development.

A Legacy of Healing and Empowerment

A Legacy of Care and Growth

In 1930, a health center was set up to provide free treatment to those in need—a tradition that continues even after 94 years. Under the guidance of Swami Ji, Thakur Sb. Nathu Singh Ji wrote the important text Rastantrasar and Siddh Prayog Sangrah (R.T.S), which is still used by well-known Ayurvedic brands across the country.

Inspired by this legacy, the Kalera (Kaleda) Family, descendants of Thakur Sb. Nathu Singh Ji, is working to carry it forward. A new manufacturing plant has been built to meet the growing demand for Ayurvedic medicines. This plant also aims to create local jobs and empower women in the community, continuing the family’s commitment to healing and service.

Sustainable Practices and Social Responsibility

We are dedicated to sustainability in everything we do. Our manufacturing plant runs on solar power, helping to reduce its environmental impact. We also focus on proper waste management to ensure minimal harm to the environment. In addition to this, we actively participate in community welfare programs, aiming to support the younger generation and encourage growth and unity within the community.

A Step Towards a New Bharat

We focus on more than just making a profit; our goal is to build a better future for India. By turning waste from medicinal plants into organic fertilizer, we help protect the environment and support local farmers. In Kalera (Kaleda) Krishna Gopal, the tradition of Ayurveda continues to grow, offering hope, healing, and well-being for future generations.

Nature

"प्रकृतेः प्रकृतिः परा, रोगो दोषः परीक्षणम्।
व्याधिशाम्यं च रोगस्य, सामान्यं दोष दर्शनम्॥"

"Nature's main cause, called Prakriti, is the most important. To understand sickness, we need to look at the imbalances in the body, called Dosha. To get rid of the sickness, we need to fix the imbalances. Recognizing these imbalances is the key to staying healthy." This quote explains the basic ideas of Ayurveda, which is a way of understanding how the body works. Ayurveda says that every person has a natural balance inside them (called Prakriti). When something goes out of balance (called Dosha), it can lead to sickness. Fixing the imbalance helps keep you healthy.
